Ok, so blogs are usually fun and full of happiness and cherries and rosebuds and unicorns and beautiful peacocks right?!?!?

BUT sometimes honesty is ok too - right? Today I was thinking and THIS song popped in my head....

LORD I have been on dates...I have stories I could tell (I should totally write a book!! LOL). I've finally gotten smart and just started doing a "coffee date" because it can be as SHORT as need be OR can linger if the company is good....

I've done the dating websites....and not had much luck there either....I've given exes second chances - remember ladies, there IS A REASON they are your ex!!!! 

SO, as I continue my hunt for love, I'd LOVE to hear YOUR dating stories - how you met your partner, or about that date that was SO unbelievable it could be on "My life is a lifetime movie" OR any tips or advice!! OR if ya happen to know a handsome single someone....LOL

Thrifty Tuesday....Ceiling Medallion Wreath

Thrifty Tuesday is when I post something thrifty that I came up, saw on-line OR was inspired by (as is this case)...

Saw this FAB wreath on line and KNEW I wanted to re-create it....It sat on my desktop for ages...

One day while thrifting I found this baby....I paid.59....I KNOW it's plainer than the inspiration pic BUT you can't look the thrift horse in the mouth....

I simply stuck a suction cup to the window....Added some thin teal ribbon....

and hung....

I think it makes a pretty sweet lil wreath and addition to my kitchen window....what have YOU thrifted lately?!?!

WELCOME Spring and Easter

Is it spring??!?!? Because as I type this it's snowing outside....The calendar said it's spring....

Bunny "mount" on the Gallery Wall

Notice any DIFFERENCE between these two pics?!?!!

These are just some components I threw together....got the "grass" last fall at the thrift for like .69 KNOWING it'd be perfect for spring!! I added the bunny, topped with a "cloche" (just a super large vase turned upside down) and a vintage egg cup

For the buffet I wanted something natural BUT also wanted to incorporate the colorful aspects of spring into the decor.....

 SO here's what I came up with...I was pretty happy with the outcome...as a blogger you KNOW no decor project is ever "COMPLETE"...if you're anything like me you're always tweaking until the 11th hour!!

I felt like the burlap was a lil too stark...so I grabbed a few of my MANY doilies and just kinda sprinkled them about....

Warmed it up don't you think?!?!?! So tell me - yay or nay to the doilies? It still looks good and not like your grandma's house - right?!?!

I LOVE the way the china hutch turned out for spring....GOOD mix of colors and neutrals!!

On the mend FINALLY - feeling good!! 

Felt SO GOOD I even went a got a few groceries....after I placed these under ripe pears on the window ledge I thought "How cute...BLUE sky in the background, fabby McFab Vintage jeep, pears lined up like lil soldiers and cute cafe curtains framing it all - How picturesque" and then I said to myself - self, take a picture...and then i was like forget it...and then i said I've had this entire conversation in my head just now, so TAKE THE DANG picture! LOL! Do you ever do that?!?!

A new body lotion I spotted in my magazine that I wanna try - seems dreamy, is a good price SO I snapped the pic so the nxt time I am at Wal-Mart I can just look at the pic and find it easily (just so ya know I started typing all the info in my notes when I realized the visual would be SO MUCH easier)

I NEVER posted my St. Patty's decor :( Time just got away from me this month! SO goodbye St.Patty's....

 AND HOLA Easter! This cabinet has proved a HUGE decorating challenge for me...for the past 5 months...BUT I LOVE the way the easter look came together!

Gorg day here today (like 36 - LOL - gorg right?!?!) SO I went and vaccumed the car, washed it and came home and cleaned the windows and inside....
