You read RIGHT y'all!! I am wearing a skirt from the Children's section at TARGET!! and I'm PROUD to say I am!! I saw it there and thought it would be perfect for Christmas eve since we were wearing black and white...I tried it on and fell in LOVE!!

I felt like a princess all day!!

A day in the life....

My week in iphone pics....

 My daughter's Santa mani....

I have an advent calendar with activities for the kids and I to do or lil treats...one night this week it was dessert for dinner (notice how I snuck the fruit in too?!?!?). Yes, that is Chocolate mint milk - it was DELISH!! Aldi carries it.

 Fridge full of healthy choices - veggies, fruits, crock pot beef stew ready for the morning....

It is getting increasingly harder to come up with new style ideas....I want something out of the box and unique but that is still polished....I stood in front of my closet for about 15 minutes the other night before my daughter said "just pick something!!". I had the entire outfit EXCEPT for a shirt....I had a red shirt in mind so I kept looking past everything else, when I realized I don't have a red shirt, I immediately chose this oatmeal one - do you do that too? Have something specific in mind and then became one track minded?

A day in the life....

For those of you who are new here or haven't been here on "A Day In The Life" this is a recap of my week in pics!! 

I've had this silver reindeer candle stand out for the past 3 weeks trying to figure out where to put it WHEN it struck me to use it in the bathroom to corral the containers (hand soap, spray and christmas cheer)

I hung up some tealy-navy garland I picked up last year at Walmart for .50 to hang the holiday cards from - that's one thing I ADORE about Christmas - seeing how families have grown over the past year and receiving that handwritten card!

Hot Cocoa and whip cream were the advent calendar activity of the day!

Ready to hit the mall and get some Christmas shopping done (layers, small purse and comfy shoes - outfit deets to come Wednesday)

I think the shopping trip was successful - NO?

And Santa left me a lil prezzie under the tree (like 14 YEARS AGO!!)

 No room went untouched when it came to Christmas decor! I added the lil felts trees (that I got ast year after Christmas for maybe $1.00)....

DO YOU SEE WHAT I SEE?

 Yes, that's my kitty in the tree....The tree has been up since the day after Thanksgiving and this past Saturday something caught kitty's eye and she scaled up the tree like 5X!!!

I found these fab Vintage like Taffy's at Wal-Mart!!
