MANI MONDAY....GLITTERY INSPIRATION and FOLLOW THRU

In all my insta looking I find LOTSA inspiration! I sometimes snapshot it to go back to it later....I found this GORG polish

I liked the deeper hued pink with the light changing glitter! It was kinda funny that a few days later I was shopping at Ulta (I think) and I found this OPI color. Looked pretty similar to me...

And I LOVE it on!! What's YOUR favorite pink?!?! This is a nice in between seasons (or even all year) color.

A DAY IN THE LIFE....

...pics via my iphone from the past week (USUALLY) this one is the past couple weeks!!

Got some spook started....

OF COURSE my phone case changes for the holidays! ESP when it's glittery SUGAR SKULLS

LOVE this BETSY JOHNSON Bat Purse!!

This gorgeous grapevine is a future project MAYBE....I want to pull it down and dry it to make a garland wrap for the porch....it seems like a lot of work (because all those spindly vines are wrapped around the fence).

SO gorgeous here in the midwest.....so I'm still grilling!
Had a PSL date with my girl (my senior....her schedule is FULL and with me working we don't get to see much of each other SO I'll take time together whenever we can get it)

Getting back on the healthy eats bandwagon....Prior Proper Planning - it's a REAL THING

YAY!! For family movie night!! Never saw Hocus Pocus...and I don't see what all the HYPE is about...I Know people LOVE it...BUT for me it's like A Christmas Story...NOT MY JAM....

Got my Halloween wreath hung and it's SO HAPPY....

LOVE LOVE LOVE this backyard setup....YEP....that's my backyard....

What have YOU been up to this week?!?!

FOODIE FRIDAY...TOTALLY TIKKA Crackers

Y'all know I LOVE me some TOTALLY TIKAA http://www.totallytikaa.com/ CLICK the link to check her out!! I watched an Instalive she had a few weeks ago where she made Ranch coated crackers.....I decided to make taco flavored crackers because I LOVE me some spice and it would go perfectly with the chili dinner I had planned.

(see that little hand that couldn't wait to dig in?!?!)
The "recipe" may be on her insta or her blog (BOTH by the name Totally Tikaa). It's simple - 4 sleeves of saltines (she also did oyster crackers)

She says to grab a container your crackers will fit in and showed them in a row like this...we had just celebrated my daughters birthday SO I used the plastic cake container (I washed out after the cake was gone) so I could just pitch it when I was done making my crackers - I HATE cleaning anything that has cooking oils on it - ESP plastic.

You use a cup of CANOLA OIL (has to be Canola) and a package of seasoning (Ranch, taco, ETC) and crushed pepper flakes and garlic powder - last two to taste. Mix the seasonings INTO the oil (a whisk makes it easy) PRIOR to dumping on the crackers....

Drizzle the oil mixture FAST so the two don't separate....it should look something like this....

FLIP a few times to mix! Then she says give a flip every time you walk by them! This was the kids favorite part!!24 hours later they're ready for eating!!

Store in a airtight container and they'll last a couple weeks or until gone!!

THRIFTY TUESDAY....GOOGLY EYE WREATH TARGET INSPO

I find inspiration everywhere I go....I usually try to take a picture (so that when I 'm scrolling thru my camera a week later I'm like "oh yeah...I was gonna duplicate that").

HERE'S my INSPO (these are available @target for $3.00 - not terribly expensive BUT when you have the supplies on hand and it's "free" you DIY that shiz)

(letters available for purchase in my ETSY shop)

I COULD have used the paper plate for my wreath BUT I decided instead of it looking like a Kindergarten project I'd class it up and use the cardboard from my pack of water bottles (reduce, re-use, RECYCLE).  I needed a smaller center for my wreath so I grabbed a piece of milk glass out of my hutch and traced it
Used my kitchen "meat scissors" to trim out the center...this is a HIGH CLASS craft y'all

Gathered my supplies and got started!! I originally wasn't going to use the white pom poms BUT decided they are eyeballs AFTER ALL so I added the white ones in there (NO PASTELS)

THIS WAS AS FAR AS I GOT .....
(couldn't find the FULL bag of orange poms I have...I literally tore my office apart and the house where I THINK they would be....an hour later I was frustrated and decided I'd just pick up two bags from @dollartree ....I couldn't find my googly eyes either...so I bought some girly ones from HOBLOB with EYELASHES for a dolla (I KNOW what you're thinking now....I coulda just bought the dang wreath...but there's NOTHING like homemade - AM I RIGHT?!?! Can I get an AMEN!?!).

HERE is my finished girl-y eyed wreath!

Just need to chose out the PERFECT ribbon and hang on my back door!!
