Vintage Gumball Machine AKA jar trésor....

.....in françois OR Treasure Jar in anglais...not sure where all this happy french is coming from....but as I was painting the gumball machine from this...
TO this....I KNEW it would be my treasure jar....you know for all those lil snippets of life you can't part with, so they sit in a drawer? Maybe on an inspiration board if you're lucky....I put mine in my FAB gumball machine! Now to pose the question....should I paint the base to match the actual gumball machine or leave it black?
For my girl Jenny.....
It's kinda like "WHERE'S WALDO?"
Just for fun see if you can guess all the objects...
It MAY involve a giveaway(and only if ya get 'em all....a lil treat for ya)....just sayin....
Have a SUPER FAB DAY!
Linked this happy project here....

I'd go with painting it white to match!

Such a sweet idea!

That really is a wonderful way to display your tresures and keep them dust free!

I bought one of these at a garage sale for $.75-it was missing it's globe. So I'm looking for a replacement. I painted it pink! Check it out if you have time-May 30,2010-shabbypinkworld.blogspot. What fun!!!!! Happy White Wednesday!!!!

Well, I would leave it black. it looks so classic. But it really depends on where you are putting it and if you have other black accents that will tie in with it. It will look fabulous either way!

I would leave it black, it's a nice contrast.

What a cute idea. Really creative. I would paint it white to match if it were mine.
