INSPIRATION Organization

In keeping with yesterdays theme (What I Wore Wednesday) I enjoy looking through magazines for inspiration....what the trends are...and how to wear them....If you're anything like me either you have a pile of clippings OR have marked the page with all intents of coming back to (to never get around to it). Awhile ago I covered 2 cork boards in fabric, One for inspiration....(this pic taken AFTER clothing inspiration was removed which is why it looks so empty)
And the other for necklaces.....this worked well for a few years BUT as you can see, the necklaces are taking over....
If only I could figure out a neat and orderly way to display the inspiration pages where I will actually see them...
And then one day I had an idea! I have this Broyhill armoire (I know, the mexican pine finish that was so popular needs a paint job BUT that's a daunting task that scares me a lil)...

I had these cork tiles laying around and KNEW they'd be perfect to line the inside of the doors....I didn't want anything permanent SO I used command adhesive tabs...

Prepped the inside of the door....
Was EXCITED to finally be able to use these fab push pins....
Applied the tiles....eeewww, those lil "ears" are gonna make-a-me-crazy....
Ah, that's better! I simply hung the pics a lil higher to cover the "ears"....I LOVE J.Crew catalogs for inspiration....
NOW I can divide up the necklaces between the 2 boards! Off to do more "snow day" projects...we are on day 2 of not leaving the house....

What a great idea! Thank you for sharing this fashion inspiration. I might have to do the same with the innards of my closet. Those pushpins are precious!

My mom does the cork board with all her jewelry in her closet! It's so organized and easy to pick out what she wants to wear!
