TRY IT THURSDAY...Team Spirit Bottles

AS you may have read, my daughter placed FIRST in her volleyball championship this past weekend!! I am going to show you the spirit bottles I made (after I literally got a gash in my finger from my ring from clapping so hard at one of her games! LOL!). 

You will need popcorn seeds, a heavy duty plastic bottle (like Sobe life, gatorade, etc) and coloredfetti

In August I was driving down the road and there was a buncha stuff at the end of the driveway... this box of glassware and gold fetti was one of the things I picked up....I KNEW one day I would have a use for the gold fetti...(her team colors are gold and purple)

 I used the Sobe life water bottles (these a a lil more sturdy than the plastic water bottles and have a fun swirly shape). I made the mistake of filling the bottle with the goldfetti FIRST which did not make it easy to put the popcorn seeds into the bottle....SO I took all the goldfetti out....

 Made a funnel out of a cardboard box.....and filled with about a quarter cup of popcorn seeds....

Ta-DA!! Here is the finished product - bring on the SPIRIT(and the NOISE!!!). The girls all loved these!!
