It's Wednesday even though it feels like Tuesday because of the holiday. I'm linking up with Lindsey http://thepleatedpoppy.com/2013/05/what-i-wore-wednesday-119/ for What I Wore Wednesday...check it out - LOTS of inspiration!!

THURSDAY
(this was a "test" picture...to see how everything looked together before the photog left for school...clearly I still needed to accessorize and pump up the volume on my hair - LOL!)
 What I'm wearing:
Openwork Knit Sweater - SO OLD - like I got it when I was 16 from Montgomery Ward!!
Tank - Chico's
Belt - Chico's
Gold Lame Pants - NY& Co via the thrift

 What I'm wearing:
Necklace - Chico's
Denim jacket - OLD - Wal Mart
Black Tank - Wal Mart

The lace shirt has dolman style sleeves (which you can only see when I am "in flight" LOL)

MONDAY
 What I am wearing:
Denim Jacket - Wal Mart
Necklaces - Pearl - Chico's Metal rings - Target via the thrift
Grey Dress - Vintage via the thrift
Belt - Chico's
Boots - Aerosoles

TUESDAY
(I LOVED this outfit...seemingly NONE of the pieces should go together - but I think they worked)
 What I'm wearing:
Vest - Chico's - last year
Accessories - see below
Tank - Dress Barn via the thrift
Skirt - Dress Barn via the thrift
(I think that's why the tank and skirt went so seemless..they are from the same store BUT bought thrifted at 2 completely different times. On a  side note, this skirt was in the pile to go back to the thrift BUT I think it's a keeper)
Sandals - Macy's
Over time and from here and there I collect accessories -  I LOVE accessories and am a total accessory whore....if you collect enough EVENTUALLY you have a "suit" of accessories that all go together. Take for example the accessories above - bought at different times and different places BUT all coordinated.
Beaded Necklace - Thrifted (I bought it after seeing Caroline from The Real Housewives of NJ wearing something similar)
Leopard Disc Earrings - Walmart - Feb 2013
Leopard Bangles - Gift
Belt - Chico's (look closely and you will see there are a few circles that are leopard pattern)
Watch - Skagen

WEDNESDAY
What I'm wearing:
Pearl Necklace - Big Lots
Grey Shrug - Lane Bryant
Leopard Tank - Chico's Travelers Collection
Jeans - Chico's So Slimming jeans cuffed up for a more summer-y look
Shoes - Target

Off to see what YOU wore!!

MAKE IT Monday Firestarters

I got a new grill...I was drooling over it a Target last month and now it's mine!! It's the Stōk Drum Charcoal grill...NOT only is it super cute....

BUT it also has the option for the below interchangeable grill inserts to take your grilling to a whole other level....below is a pic from their website http://www.stokgrills.com/ (dear stok grill masters, IF you are looking for someone to try your new grill inserts - I'd BE HAPPY TOO).

All Grill Inserts

Ok, so back to my homemade fires starters....I saw something like this on Pinterest and made my own version...I took my CARDBOARD (don't use the styrofoam) egg container....
 Cut it in half....

I crumpled up several pieces of newspaper and stuffed them down into the empty egg container....

and closed it....

From one egg container I got 2 natural fire starters for the grill...I simply place inside (from the bottom of the grill because stōk has the fire canister kinda built inside) and light....

The fire starter stays lit long enough to light the fire....so you can cook your meat....What's YOUR favorite grilling recipe?!?
